LATE BREAKING NEWS!!   We have added a special performance that will easily fit into your schedule.  Here is your chance to see just how much talent Shoreline College students have!

  • PLACE: Shoreline College Theater (Building 1600)
  • COST: Free!

This is a monumental display of multiple disciplines coming together to create magical art.  Theater/Film, Music and Music Tech, visual arts and your student body government all formulate a telling tale some may say is all too relevant today.

For you ONLY, because we value you, we will be performing the classic musical, Cabaret, for free with complimentary concessions before the general public gets its chance.

Indian Light Dinner and Indian Movie ‘English Vinglish’

The Indian light dinner and movie are free to Shoreline College students, faculty and staff.  Pre-registration is required for the dinner. Click here to register.

No pre-registration is required if you’re coming just for the movie, which begins at 7:00pm.

‘English Vinglish’ is a warm and funny movie about a middle-aged Indian woman who comes to the United States and learns English to gain confidence.

The film shows how learning a new language can change someone’s life and help them feel respected and understood.

This event is co-sponsored by the International Education department and the Indian Consulate, Seattle office.

Special thanks to the Associated Student Government and The Foundation at SC for their sponsorship! Come witness how Q’s sculptural work addresses themes of transformation and tidal zones- where movement and stillness meet, and change accumulates in place! 

Following an introduction to Q’s work a few lucky participants will have the ability to MAKE and TAKE HOME their own work of art using Q’s casting method!
