Jazz + Rock Ensemble Night

Get ready for an electric evening of music featuring SCC’s Jazz Ensemble and Rock Ensembles!

Our award-winning Jazz Ensemble, led by Jeff Kashiwa, will fill the night with beautiful and expressive jazz pieces perfect for a crisp fall evening.

Following that, the Rock Ensemble, directed by Matt Jorgensen, will bring high energy and nostalgia with passionate performances of classic hits from the ’80s Rock to modern Rock sounds.

Join us for a night that captures the heart of both groove and grit—showcasing the incredible range of Shoreline’s student musicians!

Concert Band + Chamber and Chorale Joint Concert

Kick off our Fall recital week with an evening of symphonic and vocal excellence! Back by popular demand, this joint concert returns after last year’s success—come see what’s new this year!

The Concert Band, now nearly 40 members strong, brings together returning players, current students, and retirees in a wonderfully diverse ensemble. Their shared passion for music creates an inspiring sound you won’t forget.

Meanwhile, the Chamber and Chorale ensembles showcase a similarly diverse group of students who have taken the lead in their own rehearsals—demonstrating teamwork, dedication, and creativity. Don’t miss this celebration of collaboration and community spirit!

Say Farewell to the 800 Music building

Since the 1970s, the 800 Building has been the heart of music education at Shoreline – where thousands of students dreamed, practiced, and stepped into their futures as Musicians, Audio Engineers, Music Producers, and more.

In 2026, the Music Department will move into the new, purpose-built Bracken Building.

Join us for a celebration of memories as we say goodbye to 800 and look forward to our future in the BRACKEN BUILDING!
