Join us for an inspiring evening of vocal jazz and choral excellence, featuring performances by our talented student vocalists.
3rd Annual Pride Festival
In recognition of Pride month, the campus will celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community with a festival on June 11th from 1 pm to 5 pm.
There will be live performances, activities and refreshments.
Current students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the 2nd day of Sunfest which will feature the return of FREE food truck lunch and our Civics Fair! This event will take place on Wednesday, June 4 from 12-2pm (or while supplies last).
Come pick up some lunch from Spooky Dogs or Thai U Up and learn about local, national, and international politics and how you can get more involved! Free contests and giveaways up for grabs!
Please join us for cake and camaraderie as we celebrate the 2024-2025 retirees. We will be honoring the work and dedication of employees who have retired or will be retiring between September 16, 2024 – September 15, 2025.

Nationally acclaimed educator, scholar, and strategist, Dr. Michael Benitez Jr. will be on campus to present his keynote:
Navigating the Current Moment: Understanding the Shifts in Culture, Education, and Society for College Campuses.

Dr. Michael Benitez offers an insightful, real-time analysis of today’s most pressing issues, breaking down their impact on campuses, communities, and workplaces. With his signature ability to connect historical context to current realities, he provides audiences with the tools to navigate challenges, engage in critical dialogue, and build stronger, more resilient institutions and communities.”
This keynote address is open to the public.
Additionally, prior to his keynote, Dr. Benitez will lead the following workshop exclusively for Shoreline faculty and staff:
Not about You; Not About Me: Towards A Paradigm Shift of Mission Servingness
“Educational institutions have come a long way in attempts to better understand and address inclusive excellence and mission servingness but continue to fall short of addressing systemic practices that perpetuate structural inequities and realizing visions of equity and inclusion. In his presentation, Dr. Benitez aims to rupture and shift current understandings and practices grounded in dominate culture, dispel existing dualities and binaries of teaching and practice that lead to limited outcomes for student success, and provides a framework of culturally relevant servingness for advancing student success.”
This workshop is for faculty and staff only. If you’re interested in attending, we encourage you to work with your supervisor to allow room for this event in your schedule.
