Winter 2026 Non-Credit Continuing Education Classes

Shoreline College is kicking off Winter 2026 with a new lineup of non-credit Continuing Education courses designed for personal enrichment, professional development, and lifelong learning. From arts and music to health, business skills, languages, and youth programs, the winter schedule offers flexible, affordable options for all ages.

This quarter’s offerings include creative courses like Creating Personal Portraits and Introduction to Mosaic Art, wellness favorites such as Yoga and Pickleball, and career-focused classes including Project Management 1 and Entrepreneurship: Starting a New Business. Language learners can choose from Portuguese, French, Japanese, Chinese (HSK prep), and Spanish—while younger students can explore piano, filmmaking, and drawing workshops.

All courses are taught by expert instructors and subject specialists, making it easy for community members to learn new skills, try something fun, or build professional confidence without the pressure of grades or credits.

Intermediate Landscape Painting with Acrylics

Join local artist Theresa Williams as she guides students through painting a wintery Pacific Northwest mountain scene. Using reference photos and acrylic techniques, you’ll learn to interpret nature with bold colors and an organic style.

Great for learners with some experience, but welcoming to motivated beginners!

Introduction to Mosaic Art: Micro Mosaic Pendant

  • 10:00 AM–3:00 PM | $119 | 2900 Bldg.

Create a stunning micro-mosaic pendant with artist Aleksandra Nadbitova. You’ll sketch, select colors, and arrange delicate tiles to design a wearable, one-of-a-kind piece. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a finished gift-ready pendant.

Keep Kids Active (and do your last-minute holiday shopping) Over the Holiday Break- Basketball Skills Camp for Kids 12/22-12/24

Need a few extra hours for holiday shopping? Sign your kids up for Continuing Education’s Winter Holiday Basketball All-Skills Camp, running December 22–24, 9 AM–12 PM!

Led by Shoreline Athletic Director Cameron Dollar and Shoreline team members, this fun, high-energy camp is perfect for boys and girls in grades 4th to 8th. All levels welcomed!

Campers will build skills, learn teamwork, and play exciting drills and mini games in a positive, active environment.

Just bring a water bottle, nut-free snack, and some energy to play!
