Please Complete the ctcLink Readiness Survey

Dear Colleague,

Over the last few months, the ctcLink team has worked closely with multiple departments across campus to prepare for the transition to the new PeopleSoft system.  We would like to hear from you through the ctcLink Readiness Survey because it is important to get a sense of how aware the campus is about the project and to directly learn your thoughts about the best ways we can support you through this transition.

You have until May 14 to complete the survey. After that date the survey will be closed.

If you have any questions, please contact Joe Chiappa, ctcLink Organizational Change and Project Manager.

With appreciation,
Cheryl Roberts, Ed.D.

New ctcLink Updated Website and Newsletter

Dear Colleague,

As part of our commitment to open communication throughout the ctcLink project, I wanted to share some new resources that will help us connect with you.

    • We have made big updates to the ctcLink website.  There is an expanded Training and Resources section, full of helpful links about the project, including information about trainings you can begin now to become more familiar with ctcLink.  There is also a new section on Change Management that can help with both ctcLink and the other changes we are encountering at this unprecedented time.
    • On Thursday, April 30th, I will be sharing a brief survey about ctcLink.  This is our opportunity to get a sense of your awareness about the project. I ask that you take a moment to complete this because we value your thoughts and want to learn the best ways we can provide support for you.
    • The ctcLink is a new newsletter that will be published regularly each quarter.  It will provide updates on the project, highlights about what will be changing and information on how to best prepare.  Stay tuned for the inaugural issue, which should arrive in the coming weeks.

As always, thank you for the great work you do every day.  I look forward to how ctcLink can help us improve the Shoreline experience for students and our employees!

With great appreciation,
Cheryl Roberts, Ed.D.

ctcLink is Coming!

Dear Colleague,

I am excited to let you know of some important changes that are coming to the College as part of the statewide ctcLink project. Over the next few years, Shoreline will be transitioning to a new software system that will change how employees and students conduct college processes from registering for classes to grading to accessing paychecks.

Our aging HP software is being replaced with a new statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called PeopleSoft – a modern, web-based, mobile-friendly software that will provide us with many more options and 24 x 7 access.

Work on this project has begun and will continue until we go live with the new software, currently anticipated for October 2021. Gavin Smith is serving as interim ctcLink Project Manager, while we recruit and hire a 3-year Organizational Change & Project Manager.  Teams of Shoreline employees are attending statewide workshops to help design how colleges in our system will work with the new software.

Moving to this new software will affect every department, process, and service that we provide; it will be an opportunity to analyze, streamline, and standardize processes so that we can live into the disciplined excellence goal in our Strategic Plan.

We all will need to work together to make this challenging and rewarding project successful. To get started:

Thank you for all you do!
