Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) Volunteers Needed

Dear Colleagues,

The Seattle International Film Festival is coming to Shoreline Community College May 12-21. It’s one of the biggest and most exciting events at the College all year long, and we’d love for you to be a part of the fun!

Throughout the 10 days of SIFF at Shoreline, the Foundation will be running the concession stand. All sales from concessions directly benefit the Foundation’s Performing Arts and Digital Film Scholarships and other Foundation programs.

To volunteer as a staff concession supervisor sign up here: volunteersignup.org/ECWBA. You will supervise a team of student volunteers, manage wine and beer sales, and earn one free ticket to a Festival film of your choosing at the Shoreline Community College Theater!

If your students would like to volunteer to assist with concession sales during the event, please send them this link so they can sign up, too: volunteersignup.org/L4FTF

Student volunteers will also receive one complimentary ticket per shift worked to a SIFF film of their choice, playing at the Shoreline Community College Theater.

Thank you so much for supporting Shoreline students through your efforts during SIFF at Shoreline!

Best Regards,

Michelle Cimaroli (she, her)

Plant Trees with us at Green Shoreline Day!

Join us on Saturday, November 13th, to celebrate Green Shoreline Day, our biggest tree planting celebration of the year! We will be planting the future forest of four of Shoreline’s Parks: North City Park, Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, South Twin Ponds, and Paramount Open Space.

Coming out to plant with us is one of the best ways to give back to your local forest and your neighbors. Help us to build healthy habitat and build a healthy community by taking part in Green Shoreline Day.

Green Shoreline Day connects community members across all ages and backgrounds for a common goal: helping to keep our forested parks and green spaces environmentally healthy.
