Between the Lines – Shoreline’s Community Read

Between the Lines is our quarterly book club that meets at 11:30 in room 9202 on Wednesdays.

The Center for Equity and Engagement, Campus Diversity Action Committee and Shoreline’s Ray W. Howard Library invite you to read The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, which tells a riveting story about the life of Henrietta Lacks and her family and the “untold story of how her cells were taken without her knowledge and have become one the most important tools in medicine.”

For more information about Between the Lines book club visit the website.

Students can attend a single event rather than the entire series.  To do this they need to contact Larry Fuell to confirm that there is space available. They then need to pay $8 through the Foundation (covers the cost of the briefing material).
