Call for ushers for commencement
The Commencement Committee is looking for ushers for the 2014 Commencement ceremony on Sunday, June 8. We hope that you will consider participating in this event that is so important to our students and their families.
Ushers will work during the ceremony from 12:30-4 p.m. There will also be a short informational meeting in the Gym lobby on Friday, June 6 at 1:30 p.m.
Classified Staff will be compensated for their time (3.5 hours worked on Sunday) and may choose flex time (adjust their schedule the week after commencement), receive comp time or paid overtime with the prior approval of their supervisor.

Shoreline’s Math Olympiad recognized
The Math Olympiad that was hosted on Shoreline’s campus was recognized in the Seattle Times’ rants and raves section (as a rave of course! 3rd from the top). A very big thank you and great job is due to all those involved in making the event spectacular yet again!

Hawaiian Style Bash Annual Silent Auction
The SCC Parent-Child Center is hosting it’s annual silent auction on Friday, April 18, in the PUB Main Dining Room on Shoreline’s campus at 5:30 p.m.
The theme is “Hawaiian Style Bash” so come prepared in your best luau attire and support a great cause!

Board of Trustees special meetings
The Board will be holding a series of Special Meetings related to the Presidential Search—on Monday, April 7, Friday, April 11, and Monday, April 14. Access the Board’s site on the intranet, which includes the agendas for the meetings, start times and location.
