Trustees approve tenure for faculty

Two Shoreline Community College faculty members have been granted tenure and another six renewed in their ongoing process toward tenure.

Jessica Galan and John Tankersley, both academic advisors in international education, received tenure in unanimous votes by the college Board of Trustees at their Dec. 3, 2015 regular meeting.

The Trustees also approved continuing the three-year tenure process for five two-year candidates and one first-year candidate.

The approved two-year candidates are:

  • Alison Armstrong, Engineering
  • Jeffrey Cromwell, Automotive – Toyota T-TEN
  • Nancy Felke, Academic Advising – ABE/GED, High School 21, International Education
  • Kevin Roner, Automotive, Toyota T-TEN
  • Ginger Villanueva, Academic Advising – International Education

The approved first-year candidate is:

  • Claire Fant, Interactive Media Design
