Welcome Frances Coppa, new Parenting Education Coordinator

I am pleased to announce that Frances Coppa has accepted the position of Parenting Education Coordinator. Frances has excellent references and experience, and she is thrilled to take on this role at Shoreline. She will begin her position on Tues., May 16, 2017.

Frances has a background in public schools, both as a teacher and administrator. She taught kindergarten in the Renton School District, served as Dean of Students at an elementary school in the Northshore School District, and then as Assistant Principal at an elementary school in the Seattle School District.

Frances also has experience and passion for cooperative preschools. As a resident of North Seattle, she currently has two young children enrolled in the Phinney Neighborhood Preschool Coop (which is affiliated with North Seattle College), where she has served on the Board of Directors as All-School Parent Coordinator.

I know you will all join me in enthusiastically welcoming Frances to her new position!

Also please join me in thanking the members of the screening committee for their service to the Coops and College: Faculty members Cathy Childs, Jamie Elzea, and Cecile Mielenz; Social Sciences Administrative Assistant Cathy Patrick, and Shoreline Parent Child Center Director Leslie Keller. They made a great team and I enjoyed working with them.

Best Regards,
Amy Kinsel
