With the recent death of Washington State University athlete Tyler Hilinski, our hearts and thoughts are with Tyler’s family and the WSU community. The Counseling Center staff want to remind students and employees You Matter!

Suicide is preventable. Feelings of hopelessness, isolation, loneliness, anger, and believing there are no other options are all things that can improve with help and support. There are ways to cope that are not as permanent as suicide.

There are campus and community resources available for people who may be experiencing thoughts of suicide:
