Help Student Life with the Governor’s Student Voter Registration Challenge

With election day coming up in November, now is the time to remind students to get registered to vote. This year, Student Life is competing in the Governor’s Student Voter Registration Challenge. We’re competing with other colleges and universities around the state to see who can get the most students – and employees – to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election. The deadline for the challenge is Oct. 8.

Ways you can help: post an announcement on your canvas pages (great way to reach our online students as well) or make an announcement in class and talk about why voting in elections are important. Remind students they have until Oct. 8 to register online/via mail or to update their registration info for the Nov. 6 election. Oct. 29 is the deadline for in-person, new Washington state registration for the Nov. 6 election.

Sign up to vote AND help Shoreline win the challenge by using the online voter registration link for the college here: https://tinyurl.com/sccvoterchallenge

Thank you,
Student Life
