Ad hoc accreditation visit October 30 – 31

Shoreline will be hosting an evaluator from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) October 30 – 31. The purpose of the ad hoc visit is to review Shoreline’s work related to four recommendations remaining from the College’s last comprehensive self-study in 2012. Briefly, those four recommendations are:

#1)  Alignment of mission, core themes, and current institutional initiatives and financial emphases
#2)  Full implementation of assessment processes
#3)  Update of policies and procedures
#4)  Revision of core theme indicators

The evaluator has requested interviews with faculty and staff, and invitations to those sessions were sent last week.

If you have questions about the ad hoc accreditation visit, please contact Bayta Maring (bmaring@shoreline.edu, 206-546-6949), Shoreline’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO).
