Congratulations to our eight Shoreline students who presented their research projects at this year’s University of Washington Undergraduate Research Symposium. The symposium is application based and competitive and it speaks highly of our Honors College students and the quality of instruction they receive that so many of them were invited to present their work alongside their four-year counterparts. Of all the area two-year colleges, Shoreline sent the largest cohort of students to the symposium for the fourth year in a row.

If you are working with or know of students who show particular interest in a research topic or aptitude for conducting a multi-quarter research project, please encourage them to consider the Honors College Research Track. Applications are currently open for Fall 2019.
Please also encourage any students who may be interested in Honors College to attend the final Honors College Research Track presentations June 19 from 1:30 to 3:20 in PUB 9208. We will be using a poster session format similar to the one used at the UW Research Symposium to allow attendees to interact with the presenters and ask questions about their research. This event is open to the entire campus community.
