
Dr. Laurel Ecke
The Commencement Committee is proud to announce that Dr. Laurel Ecke has accepted the honor of faculty speaker at the 2019 Commencement Ceremony. Dr. Ecke is an associate professor of Psychology at Shoreline Community College. In her time here, she has served on multiple committees, co-teaches an interdisciplinary class, and helped organize a teach-in on campus to advocate for increased funding for WA community colleges. She is also this year’s recipient of the 1964 Society Faculty Professional Development Scholarship. Please join the committee in congratulating Dr. Ecke as the 2019 faculty speaker!

Azia Kelikoa’elakauaikekai Jaelyn Lualhati
The Commencement Committee is proud to announce that Azia Kelikoa’elakauaikekai Jaelyn Lualhati has accepted the honor of student speaker at the 2019 Commencement Ceremony. Azia was born in Honolulu, HI and raised in the Bay Area. She came to Shoreline Community College in 2017 to pursue a degree in Communications with a focus in Journalism. She chose Shoreline for its extensive Communications courses and its student newspaper, the Ebbtide. She is currently the Honors Student Council President and Editor-in-Chief of the Ebbtide.
