• A wave of gratitude from Gloria Anderson to Melanie Meyer! “Melanie is an incredible Director of the Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM) program. Since her short time here, she has updated courses, processes, and outcomes along with creating new courses and a new certificate. She has worked tirelessly in updating MCOs (Master Course Outlines) and mapping those to learning outcomes. In addition, with her diligence, she successfully took the HIIM program through the accreditation process and now submitted a renewal of certification for the Medical Coding and Reimbursement Specialist (MCRS) program. By working with the health information community professionals, there is continued support for the HIIM program here at SCC. A huge shout out and thank you to Melanie for all her hard work!”
