Copyright Basics for Faculty (50-minute synchronous workshop)3/10/22

Have you ever wondered how things enter the public domain? What rights do you have to use someone else’s work? What rights do you have to control the use of your work? Learn more about copyright, fair use, and copyleft (creative commons, open licenses) basics in this workshop from Caitlan Maxwell, Digital & Electronic Collections Librarian. This workshop will provide a general overview of copyright, fair use, and copyleft (Creative Commons) with research and course-related use examples. This workshop will also provide a list of resources that faculty can peruse on their own time. The workshop will be recorded in Zoom and uploaded to the eLearning Resources for Faculty Canvas site for access after the event.
