Communicable Disease Team (CDT) Update

College community,

I’d like to take a moment to provide you with a few updates about the Communicable Disease Team (CDT), which has been coordinating the college’s response to COVID-19.

First, on July I assumed responsibility for CDT and COVID-19 planning, taking over from Ann Garnsey-Harter, Associate Vice President-Learning Resources & Institutional Effectiveness.  Ann will now have new duties overseeing institutional research.  I want to thank Ann for her superb leadership of CDT and the college’s COVID-19 response plan.

As a member of the Executive Team, I will continue to ensure that ET and President Kahn are kept updated on changes in local, regional, and national COVID-19 data and requirements.  I will also be regularly communicating with the college community.

Second, Jesse Lowe has joined Shoreline as our new COVID-19 Support Coordinator.  Jesse’s role includes conducting contact tracing, coordinating student vaccination attestation, and staffing the covidsupervisor@shoreline.edu account.

Lastly, a follow-up email will be sent to you shortly confirming the college’s plans for fall quarter.

In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Bob Williamson
