Congrats to our NCORE Delegation!

Good afternoon, Shoreline Community, 

I hope you’re doing well and taking the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful weather. The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) is EXCITED to announce that all employees requesting funding to attend NCORE by the deadline have been approved. We want to acknowledge many others who were interested, but missed the deadline. We wish we had more funding to support everyone wanting to attend and our goal is to send a much larger team next year when the conference is on the Westcoast. Below is the delegation representing the college:

We understand there are other Shoreline employees attending as speakers, such as, Dr. Joan King. We appreciate this team for representing our college, by gathering resources, promising practices and being in community with all of the other practitioners committed to DEIA across the nation. Our delegation will engage in a debrief at the start of the Fall quarter and the DEIA Office will coordinate a college presentation, so we can all benefit from the experience. 

Thanks to our delegation for representing our community and we are eager to learn all about the conference experience.
