Andrew Martinez from TIAA-CREF will be available to meet for individual appointments on September 3, in the small conference room to discuss your personal TIAA-CREF retirement planning. Mr. Martinez will be available to help you develop long-term strategies, find the right allocation mix, and learn about TIAA-CREF retirement income flexibility.  Classified staff can participate by enrolling in a supplemental retirement plan 403/b.

Friday, Sept. 5:

The 4th annual overcoming barriers to employment for job seekers summit will be taking place in the PUB starting at 8:30 a.m. More info and tickets can be found on brown paper tickets.

Women’s soccer hosts Grays Harbor at 2 p.m. at twin ponds park. #GoPhins

The campus will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1. The college will be open again on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Ice cream social in the courtyard near the PUB (quiet dining room if raining) from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 30:

Men’s and Women’s soccer travel to Olympic College. The women play at 12 and the men at 2:15. #GoPhins

Monday, September 1:

Campus closed for labor day. Shoreline will reopen Tuesday, September 2.

The days are getting shorter and the weather a little cooler. (Yes, a collective groan is in order!) But, we all know what that means. Students are on their way back to campus! (Hooray!!)

To celebrate that, join us for the End of Summer ice cream social in the courtyard near the PUB on Friday, August 29, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. (If the nice weather decides to end a little sooner, we will just head in to the quiet dining room.)

It will be a time to celebrate before the beginning of a new school year, say hello to friendly faces and of course, eat some delicious treats (like the ice cream sandwich pictured above!) Save the date!
