Philosophy & Film MOOC Begins!
Shoreline Community College is hosting its first ever massive open online course, better known as a MOOC, and has more than 1300 students signed up to take it!
Instructor William Lindenmuth examines a variety of philosophical issues through the medium of film for the class that is hosted on http://www.canvas.net and runs July 21 until Sept. 15. This no-credit class is free and enrollment is open until Friday, September 5, 2014. To read more about the MOOC, visit the news site!
SolarFest is fast approaching!

Shoreline is playing host once again for the Northwest SolarFest on Saturday, July 26 from 10 – 5 p.m.
Join us for music, food, a KIDZone, electric cars, a barter fair and, for the first time ever (possibly in the world!) a doggie trash fashion show.
This will be the 11th SolarFest and is always growing. There will be free parking and the event itself is also free.
