Tuesday, June 17:
Panopto training at 11 a.m. in room 1301.
All-Hazards Training is an excellent overview of what faculty and staff should be prepared for in various emergency situations and will take place in room 2925 at 12 p.m. or 3 p.m. The training is an hour and a half long and will be presented on numerous dates and times. This important training is mandatory for all faculty and staff.
Wednesday, June 18:

Interested in a career in the aerospace field? Join us for an informational session covering job search strategies for the aerospace industry on June 20, at 9 a.m. Learn how to access local employers and tips for submitting an application to Boeing. Policy 4722 Revised
Policy 4722 Advancement in Rank has been revised. The rank of Professor Emeritus may be given upon request to the Faculty Senate Chair to retired and deceased tenured faculty. Emeritus status may also be awarded posthumously to tenured faculty. Policy 4722 can be viewed on the intranet.
New Web Content Management System Launching Next Week
The College is upgrading its system to a newer version provided by the current vendor, OmniUpdate (OU). While this takes place on Tuesday, June 17, the website and intranet will be locked and no changes will be possible until the upgrade process is complete. For more details please see the email sent to current OU users.
Friends gather to honor Tony Costa

Tony Costa began at Shoreline Community College as a student following a successful career in the Navy.
He started working at the college at the same time, taking on duties as a work-study student. After graduation, he transitioned into a string of positions that ranged from tutoring coordinator to golf instructor and lots more in between.
Now, after 21 years, Costa is retiring. Friends, family and coworkers gathered Thursday, June 12, 2014 to honor Costa and his commitment to students.
