AVID Fair on campus Thurs., Oct. 26

Shoreline will be hosting an AVID Fair (Advancement via Individual Determination) Thurs., Oct. 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The fair will be held in the PUB Main Dining Room with 20 colleges representing their school to students from 19 participating high schools. We anticipate hosting potential students to our campus from as far away as Anacortes and The Dalles, Oregon. Shoreline Community College current students are encouraged to talk to four-year college representatives as well.

The Quiet Dining Room will be used as a hospitality suite for college representatives, high school counselors, and teachers. Every effort will be made to provide ample seating and eating areas for our current students. This is a three-hour block of time that will provide many to see our beautiful campus and the potential to attend Shoreline Community College.

Please say hi to these future students and let Amy Stapleton know if you have any questions or concerns at astaplet@shoreline.edu or extension 7841.
