Reminder: Phone and Voicemail outage on Sat., March 11

On Sat., March 11, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm the campus will experience a temporary loss of telephone/voicemail services. This outage is due to required replacement of the uninterrupted power source/battery backup (UPS) for the phone and voicemail systems.

Head Coach Donald Brady named Coach of the Year in the North Region

Congratulations to Donald Brady, Shoreline Community College Head Men’s Basketball Coach who was named Coach of the Year in the Northern Region by his coaching peers. His team won the Northern Region title this year and will be playing in the Northwest Athletic Conference Championships starting on Thurs., March 9 at 8 p.m. versus Mt. Hood Community College, at Everett Community College, Gymnasium.

19th Annual Shoreline Math Olympiad Sat., March 11

If you plan to be on campus this Sat., March 11 take note that 1,000+ elementary and middle school students, teachers, and parents will also be on campus for a Math Olympiad event scheduled from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Be sure to leave extra time for parking and note that some facilities (PUB, gym, and a few classrooms) will be occupied during the event.

The competition is for 4-8th-grade students attending public and private schools in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. Last year we had 750+ Mathletes compete! Students test in the morning and enjoy entertainment and awards in the gym in the afternoon. It is sponsored by the Shoreline School District, Shoreline Public Schools Foundation, Shoreline Community College, and local businesses. This event is open to the public. Feel free to stop by and join us for our entertainment and awards ceremony, which begins at 12:15 p.m. in the #3000 gym.
