aSAP Funding Applications for 2017-18
Dear Colleague,
The abbreviated Strategic Action Plan (aSAP) application materials for the 2017-18 budget process are now available. The submission deadline for aSAP applications is Friday, February 3, 2017.
The Strategic Planning and Budget Council (SPBC) will offer multiple live training sessions in mid-January to help you develop your aSAP proposal. If you would like to start thinking about some of your requests in the meantime, you may want to review the online materials describing the aSAP application requirements:
· Funding Requests – Visit this page to determine if an aSAP request is appropriate for your proposal.
· aSAP Application Instructions – Visit this page to view the instructions for each section of the aSAP application.
The aSAP process provides a streamlined opportunity for Shoreline employees to propose ideas and projects that help realize the College’s Strategic Plan goals. I invite you to bring your unique expertise and perspective to the process and consider how to best impact the College’s needs as a whole. With the shift in the state’s funding allocation model, the College will be required to grow at a steady pace in order to retain a revenue-neutral budget. This means that priority consideration will be given to proposals that directly enhance student enrollment, retention, and/or completion.
Stay tuned to DAAG for announcements about the January training dates. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email Guy Hamilton, Chair of the SPBC.
With warm regards,
Cheryl
