FYI: Shoreline Today

Hello all!

We hope the first day of fall quarter was kind to you!

Just so you know, we created a DAAG for students called Shoreline Today. Feel free to explore it here: http://today.shoreline.edu/

It is an additional way to reach out to students and for them to receive information, add information and get an idea of what is going on on campus. If there are messages, events or information you would like to get out, please feel free to submit!

The Public Information Office and the Student Leadership Center are collaborating on running the site. We want to create a place for them to engage and be engaged. It includes calendars, social media, links to important contacts on campus and more.

We are planning on running a few contests on Instagram, Twitter and Vine and have some great plans and ideas for the site. We would love to hear from you as well about what you might think is important for students to know.

Welcome to fall quarter!

Welcome back and to some, welcome! Today is the first official day of fall quarter classes and we want to be the first to say good luck this quarter!

We also want to remind you about our submissions bar at the top. Make sure to add your events to the calendars, submit important information for DAAG updates as well as keep in touch on social media.

Again, welcome to fall quarter!

All-campus luncheon set for Tuesday

Be sure to “accidentally forget your lunch” and grab one provided by the new campus catering service on Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the PUB main dining room during the all-campus luncheon from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Also during this time, Robin Blacksmith, head of safety and security, will give a short informational program about campus emergency plans and safety procedures for the upcoming year. Please make sure to join us and be better prepared before classes begin on Wednesday!
