Shoreline Concert Band & Everett Chorale “Salute to America” performance Wed., Nov. 8

Come enjoy a mix of music to salute our Armed Forces Featured Groups that is familiar to everyone. “Salute to America” features the Everett Chorale and the Shoreline Concert Band.

This performance will be at 7:30pm on Wed., Nov. 8 at:

Cost is $10 at the door, and proceeds benefit the Shoreline Community College Music Scholarship Fund.

Join us for our 20th Annual Student Success Breakfast on Thursday, November 2. The event kicks off at 7:00 a.m. and includes a delicious breakfast, inspirational stories from scholarship recipients, live music from Shoreline’s own Funk & Groove, and emceed by Jim Dever of KING5 TV.

Funk & Groove will be performing at the 20th Annual Student Success Campaign Community Breakfast on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 7am in the PUB. The music students are volunteering their time in support of this empowering campaign.

Please invite family and friends to attend. Every contribution is a valuable resource for our students in need through scholarships and much-needed emergency financial assistance. Join the Global Affairs Center in the PUB 9208 Thurs., Nov. 2 from 7-8:30pm for the panel discussion “Diverse voices in the military: Vietnam and current eras.”

What have been the challenges faced by women and racial & ethnic minorities in the military over time and how have they overcome or otherwise dealt with these challenges? How has their service, return home, and commemoration of their service been similar or different? This discussion is being planned in collaboration with Veterans Services.
