Updated details! Join the College and Project Pride Club in the Seattle Pride Parade, Sun., June 25

Join Shoreline Community College for Seattle’s PRIDE Parade this Sun., Jun 25. This year the College will have a float in the parade and all students, faculty, staff, and friends are welcome to join in and march alongside the College float.

Participants who wish to walk with Shoreline are asked to arrive at 12:45 p.m.at the Republic parking lot on 6th and James. Although the parade begins at 11 a.m. the organizers suggest this gathering time for our group as we’re towards the back of the very long parade.

The parade runs along 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle, beginning at Union Street and running north to Denny Way. View the parade route.

Shoreline’s Project Pride Club is sponsoring the College entry in the Pride Parade, which is an annual event attended by thousands of spectators. This will be a fun event with great exposure for the College. Participants will be handing out Shoreline Community College beads to the crowds.

If you’d like to attend, please fill out the online sign-up form. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Stapleton at astaplet@shoreline.edu.

Free parking days on campus June 19-26

To facilitate the needs of students and their families in preparation for the summer quarter, parking on campus will be free June 19 – 26. No fees are required to park June 19-26, and no citations will be issued for not paying parking fees. We ask that visitors to campus do still park in the appropriate parking areas during this period of free parking. If you know any students who still need to register for classes, let them know to take advantage of the free parking and come on down to campus to get registered now!

Safety & Security will post signage on the parking machines on Free Parking Days.

Thank you.
