In case you missed the mailer that went out last week, here is a link to the schedule of events for Opening Week for the 2015-16 academic year. Please note a significant schedule change for this year: Fall Convocation is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 16, the first day of Opening Week activities. Also, Fall Convocation is scheduled to be a day-long event with multiple opportunities for learning and interaction.
For the 2015-16 academic year, Opening Week dates will be Wednesday, Sept. 16 – Tuesday, Sept. 22. The first day of fall quarter classes is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Come celebrate the (almost) start of a new quarter at this year’s campus Ice Cream Social Thurs., Sept. 3 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Quiet Dining Room. All in the campus community are welcome to attend.
It will be a time to celebrate before the beginning of a new school year, say hello to friendly faces and, of course, eat some delicious treats (Nom nom!). So save the date and we’ll see you there! Nom nom!
Our women’s soccer home opener is Wed., Sept. 2 vs. Grays Harbor from 12:15-2:15 p.m. at the Shoreline soccer fields (on the northwest end of campus, by the running track). Come out & cheer your PHINS on to victory!
On Wed., Sept. 9, Shoreline will host the 2015 Built Green Conference, a full day of networking about the latest in green building. This conference helps educate individuals about innovations in the green building industry and sustainability. It is open to all building professionals, policy makers, and the environmentally-friendly minded public.
Keynote speaker will be Joe Whitworth of The Freshwater Trust!
