WFSE Contract Training – Comp Time Accrual  Opportunities

As part of the professional development opportunities offered for classified staff to earn compensatory (“comp”) time for use during the upcoming campus Winter closure, the College has scheduled a 2015-17 WFSE Contract Training at the following times this week:

Wed., August 26 from 
5:30-7 p.m. in the PUB Quiet Dining Room, 9208
Fri., August 28 from 12:30–2 p.m. in the PUB Quiet Dining Room, 9208

This training opportunity is presented jointly by HR and the WFSE, and is being offered for comp time accrual only. For your  reference, the 2015-17 WFSE contract can be found online here.

Last Chance! 5 Steps to Accessible Syllabi Workshop

Please join the Accessibility Faculty Learning Community for their last Spring presentation of “5 Steps to Accessible Syllabi” this Fri., June 6 from 1:30-3 p.m. in Room 2926.

Bring a copy of a syllabus, and a laptop if you have one, and learn how easy and quick it can be to create syllabi and other documents that can be read by screen readers for students with low/no vision.  Plus learn why this is important AND legally required!

PIZZA and TREATS will be served!! Looking forward to seeing you there!
