Shoreline Community College Suspends Women’s Basketball 2017-18 Season

Based on low participation and a multitude of athlete injuries, Shoreline Community College and the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) mutually agreed that suspending the Women’s Basketball 2017-18 season would be best.

“We highly praise the perseverance our student-athletes demonstrated under challenging circumstances,” said Steve Eskridge, Director of Athletics. “It takes time to develop a rhythm as a team, and these players showed amazing determination and spirit in facing off against more seasoned NWAC programs. We also greatly appreciate and want to thank everyone who supported the team this year.”

“Newly hired Head Coach, Amy Donovan, is already at work building the 2018-19 Women’s Basketball PhinNation season,” said Eskridge.
