Notice of Rule-Making Activity – WAC 132G-276-090 (Public Records)

Greetings,

Shoreline Community College is proposing revisions to Chapter 132G-276-090 of the Washington Administrative Code regarding public records in compliance with Executive House Bill 1595 which passed in July 2017. The revised language being proposed allows the College to comply with new requirements related to using a default copy fee and/or waiving costs associated with producing records as a result of a public records request. The revised language in this section has gone through a process to incorporate input from both the Strategic Plan and Budget Committee and the College’s Executive Team.

In compliance with RCW 34.05.320, the College is providing an opportunity for comments on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Quiet Dining Room of the PUB. Alternately, comments related to this rule revision may be submitted to sccrulemaking@shoreline.edu on or before December 5, 2017.
