Notice of Board of Trustees Special Meeting: Wed; Jan 18, 2023; 5:00 PM

The Shoreline Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 beginning at 5:00 PM in room 1010M (the “Board Room”) in building 1000 (the “Administration building). The business to be transacted in this meeting is/will be published to https://www.shoreline.edu/about-shoreline/board/meeting-packets-2018.aspx.

The January 18, 2023 special meeting will be recorded and the video, available, when Board materials are posted for the next regular meeting on January 25, 2023.

All Board of Trustees meetings include opportunity for public comment. Public comment(s) during the January 18, 2023 Communication from the Public segment will be presented to the Board verbally.

  • For attendees attending in-person: Please sign-up to provide a public comment on the speaker sign-in sheet in the Board Room between 4:45 PM–5:00 PM on January 18, 2023. 
  • For attendees connecting online: Please sign up to provide a public comment via the Chat function in Zoom between 4:45 PM–5:00 PM on January 18, 2023.

The Board Chair will call upon each speaker signed up to provide public comment. The total public comment period at the January 18, 2023 meeting will be no more than six (6) minutes with up to two (2) minutes allotted per speaker. Adjustments to the two (2) minute allotment will be made if more than three (3) individuals sign up to speak. Transfer Application Workshop 1/25

Do you know any students that are transferring to another college in the next year? Encourage them to attend an upcoming Transfer Application Workshop on Wednesday, 1/25 from 4-6pm in the PUB Main Dining Room (9215). Students will be able to ask questions and talk with staff about the application process. Campus Blood Drive on Thursday, Feb. 2

Shoreline Community College & Bloodworks Northwest are hosting a campus blood drive on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 9:30am-4:30pm in the PUB Quiet Dining Room (9208). SCC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to make an appointment to donate by going to bit.ly/SCCgiveblood.

The Gender Equity Center will host a discussion on Muslim feminism and the use of theology and civil disobedience to promote the civil liberties of Muslim women.

Important message from Payroll:

Good Morning,

I am happy to announce, if you consented to an electronic version, that your W-2 is available online through ctcLink.   If you did not consent to an electronic version the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will be printing and mailing them on or before January 31, 2023.  Payroll will not have access to reprint W-2s until closer to the end of the month.
