Academic Appreciation & Faculty Celebration

The Office of Instruction is honored to invite you to an Academic Appreciation & Faculty Celebration Event on January 23rd, 2025, from 5:30pm-7pm in the 9000 building Main Dining Room.

This event will include a reception with catered appetizers, a variety of beverages, and a program to showcase and celebrate this year’s faculty award winners! We will also have an opportunity to hear from a few guest speakers regarding recent academic achievements.

Who:  All employees are welcome to attend as a taste taster and voter!

Our creative endeavors provide Shoreline students with a learning environment of discovery that encourages students of all disciplines to become sustained, self-directed learners while simultaneously modeling pathways for personal and spiritual health.

This exhibit celebrates the diverse and creative visions, voices, and innovations that represent the staff and faculty of Shoreline Community College across all departments and disciplines.

Zombie Orientals Ate My Brain! Anti-Muslim and Anti-Asian Themes in Zombie Film & Fiction 11/20/24

This is a lecture style event where those interested in fantasy, science fiction, or genre fiction can learn about how racism is expressed through novels, movies, and other media which can influence our attitude and perception of others.

Eric Hamako is a tenured professor at Shoreline Community College, where he teaches courses about social justice in Multicultural Studies (MCS) and American Ethnic Studies (AES).
