Comp Time Accrual Opportunity for Classified Staff – 2015-17 WFSE Contract Training

As part of the professional development opportunities offered for classified staff to earn compensatory (“comp”) time for use during the upcoming campus Winter closure, the College has scheduled a 2015-17 WFSE Contract Training at the following upcoming times this month:

Wed., August 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the PUB Quiet Dining Room
Fri., August 28 from 12:30-2 p.m. in the PUB Quiet Dining Room

This training opportunity is presented jointly by HR and the WFSE, and is being offered for comp time accrual only. For your  reference, the 2015-17 WFSE contract can be found online here.  Please also note that a schedule of the other upcoming professional development training opportunities to be offered between now and November 2015 will be published shortly.

TIAA-CREF Rep Scott Ramsay on campus June, July, Aug & Sept

Scott Ramsay from TIAA-CREF will be available to meet for individual appointments to discuss your personal TIAA-CREF retirement planning. Mr. Ramsay will be available to help you develop long-term strategies, find the right allocation mix, and learn about TIAA-CREF retirement income flexibility. Classified staff can participate by enrolling in a supplemental retirement plan 403/b.

Individual appointments are available Tues., June 23, Tues., July 21, Wed., August 19 and Wed., September 9 in the Small Conference Room in the Admin Bldg. (1000).
