Please save the date for Open Forums for the hiring of the Dean of Math/Science/Engineering. The tentative schedule for the forums is as follows:

April 20, 22, 25 from 12:45-1:45 p.m.
April 21 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

We’ll announce candidate names, room numbers, and additional information closer to the dates!

Upcoming Presentations/Open Forums for Dean Candidates

Presentations and open forums are scheduled for the three candidates for the position of Dean of Social Sciences, Library, & Parent Child Center. Terry Taylor has filled the role as Acting Dean since July 1, 2014.

The candidates and forum times/dates are:

Amy Kinsel – 1-2 p.m., Friday, April 24

  • Doctorate – History (Cornell University)
  • MA – History (Cornell University)
  • Professor and President, American Federation of Teachers Washington Local 1950 Shoreline

Michael DeLashmutt – 1-2 p.m., Monday, April 27

  • Doctorate – Literature, Theology and the Arts (University of Glasgow)
  • MA – Theology (Fuller Theological Seminary)
  • Vice President for Academic Affairs – Trinity Lutheran College

Tyler Young – 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 29

  • Doctoral Candidate – Higher Education (University of North Texas)
  • MA – Public Policy (University of Texas at Dallas)
  • Professor and Chair – Collin College (Central Park Campus)

All open forums will be in room 1102.
