24th Annual Student Success Fundraiser

The Foundation is hosting its 24th Annual Student Success Fundraiser on Nov 4th. It will be a virtual event that will be broadcast on YouTube.  As this is a virtual event, our success will be built on Sponsorships and funds raised at Impact Parties!

What is an Impact Party you ask?  It is a live or virtual event that you host for a group of friends/family where you come together to watch the event and make donations live. We would love for you to host an Impact Party! Please see the attached invitation for details.

The more Impact Parties hosted by Shoreline staff and community members the more students we can serve.  The Foundation provided over $400,000 to 399 students in the 2020-2021 academic year!

Shoreline’s Baseball team collecting Clothes for the Cause – donate now!

The Shoreline Community College Baseball team is hosting a clothing and textile drive! We all have clothing that is no longer worn or no longer fits. Instead of discarding surplus clothing and household linens, give your clothes a second life by participating in our textile collection drive.

The Baseball team can accept clothing, shoes in pairs only, towels, stuffed animals, hats, sheets, blankets, quilts, bedspreads, drapes, purses and belts. All items need to be kept dry, so please put them in a plastic bag that is tied tightly. We cannot take: glass, breakables, electronics, pet beds, bed pillows, carpeting, uniforms, hotel linens, or items previously on sale at a thrift store.

Collection will take place in the Shoreline Community College 3000 Building in the Baseball Office 3024-J. Please drop off your items between 2:30pm – 5:00pm on Fridays, February 12th, 19th and the 26th.

If you have any questions please contact Associate Head Coach Rick Teegarden at 206-533-6742 or at rteegarden@shoreline.edu.

Why is donating textiles a good idea? Not only does it help the Baseball team, but it’s eco-friendly too! Check it out:

Patxi’s Pizza Fundraiser for North City Coop, Wed., Oct. 14

patxi's pizza

On Wed., Oct. 14, Patxi’s Pizza will donate 10% of the ENTIRE DAY’S Sales to North City Cooperative Preschool (NCCP), a preschool under the Shoreline Community College Parent Child Center umbrella. Please support us by dining at Patxi’s or placing a to-go, delivery or catering order on our fundraiser day!

1. PRE-ORDER MEALS for pick-up and delivery. Don’t forget that the entire menu, including bottled wine and beer, is available for pick-up and delivery.
2. LUNCHTIME DINING: Since dinner time gets so crowded at Patxi’s, lunchtime is a great time to gather a group to dine together. After dining, encourage your group to order half-baked pizzas to take home for another meal.
3. HAPPY HOUR: Organize a happy hour at Patxi’s with friends or colleagues.
4. PEAK HOURS: Dinner-time from 6-8:30pm is the busiest time at Patxi’s. We encourage reservations for large parties. We also do Pre orders: this is when the guest can call ahead and order a deep if they are going to be in a hurry or have small children or just don’t want to have to wait the 40 minutes for a deep pizza. After dining, order extra and take home half-baked pizza for another meal. Bottles of wine can also be purchased for take-out.

By signing up for Patxi’s VIP rewards program you will get a FREE appetizer on your event date for joining!
