The Shoreline Community College Board of Trustees is actively seeking input from the community regarding the selection of an Interim President. To date we have received some input but not as much as we had hoped for. To those of you that have responded thus far, thank you very much! We really do value your input. I thought posing some questions might help facilitate additional input:
1. What do you think is the most important task for the Interim President?
2. What do you think are the most important traits of an Interim President?
3. Should we choose someone from the inside who is familiar with the college processes and policies or someone from the outside with experience running colleges?
4. Should the Interim President have a management focus or an academic focus?
5. What would like to say to the new Interim President?
Feel free to answer any of these questions or tell us something completely different. We value your input.
