Capital Budget Update

On January 18, the state legislature and governor reached an agreement to pass a biennial capital budget, and the bonds to support the construction projects in the budget.

Shoreline’s Allied Health, Sciences, and Advanced Manufacturing Building and our housing project are two of those construction projects. This means the College can now begin work on planning the Allied Health, Sciences, and Advanced Manufacturing project. We are still on track with a planned opening for our housing project, fall 2019.

“This budget announcement moves Shoreline in a very positive direction. I am so appreciative of all who have helped to bring us to this moment!,” said President Roberts.

The next phase of our work will be to fundraise for the $3 million to support the Allied Health, Sciences, and Advanced Manufacturing building construction. Please watch for more details about the capital campaign and building plans in the coming weeks and months.
