New Major Capital Project
The State Board recently announced that Shoreline’s proposal to design and construct a new, $36 million, 49,000 square-foot Comprehensive Student Services Center scored high enough to be included on the major capital funding request list. Given the list of projects already in the state’s pipeline, it could be four years or more before Shoreline receives predesign/design funding for this new project.
Gas and heat shut down during spring break
Ongoing construction of the new HSMACC building will require another shutdown. Gas will be shut off in the 2000, 2100, 2300, 2400 Boiler, and 2600 buildings from 8:00 a.m. on March 28 through 3:00 p.m. on March 30. Buildings 2220 and 2700 will lose heat during this time as well. The PUB and student housing will not be impacted. We scheduled this work for spring break to minimize disruption and inconvenience for faculty, staff, and students.
