Gas and heat shut down during spring break
Ongoing construction of the new HSMACC building will require another shutdown. Gas will be shut off in the 2000, 2100, 2300, 2400 Boiler, and 2600 buildings from 8:00 a.m. on March 28 through 3:00 p.m. on March 30. Buildings 2220 and 2700 will lose heat during this time as well. The PUB and student housing will not be impacted. We scheduled this work for spring break to minimize disruption and inconvenience for faculty, staff, and students.

- Last year Spring 2021 enrollment was 36 days (March 1 – April 5)
- This year Spring 2022 enrollment was shortened to 19 days due to ctcLink conversion (March 16-April 4)
Compared to the same date last year (March 18, 2021; about half-way through enrollment):
- Total FTES are down 24% (2386 to 1820)
- State-Supported FTES are down 27% (1727 to 1262)
- International Contract FTES are down 17% (404 to 334)
- Running Start FTES are down 17% (184 to 153)
- CEO/LCN FTES are down 21% (71 to 56)
- New to Shoreline FTES are down 57% (201 to 87)*
*New to Shoreline is down in part due to a backlog of applications generated during the ctcLink transition
*Note that in Winter 2022 compared to the previous year, we were down 8.8% overall
