A Wave of Gratitude to Tom Harvey for His career of Service.
Tom has worked tirelessly over many years to support all aspect of this college and deserves way more gratitude than he has received. With his pending retirement October 1st everyone should extend a thank you for his commitment and service keeping systems operating, events set-up, carpentry, and worksite preparedness so rooms are comfortable for students and staff.
He is known for his willingness to help out, let’s get it done attitude, to share knowledge, pleasant conversation, and ready sense of humor. On countless occasions he has spent hours getting equipment set-up for hourly students and classified staff so jobs can be accomplished safely, then taught equipment use and supervised job completion. He is always a wonderful example of dedication and commitment to task no matter what the assignments he is given. Shoreline College will be hard pressed to find a replacement for Tom Harvey!
