Scheduled Canvas Maintenance Mon., June 1

Canvas will be performing maintenance on Mon., June 1 starting at 1:00 AM PT. Faculty and students will not be able to access Canvas for up to 2 hours (until 3:00 AM PT). We hope that this maintenance will take less time than estimated; a maintenance page will be displayed to users while Canvas is not accessible.

Exceptional Faculty and Classified Star of the Year Award Nominations Now Open

Dear Campus Community:

You are invited to submit nominations for two awards: the 2014-2015 Classified Star of the Year and the 2014-2015 Exceptional Faculty Award. Any Shoreline administrator, alumni, classified employee, faculty member, foundation board member, student or trustee may nominate an eligible classified or faculty member or group of faculty members for consideration.

The Selection Criteria for Nomination, Selection Criteria details, and Nomination Form for the Classified Star award is available here and the criteria for the Exceptional Faculty award can be downloaded here.

Please submit Classified Star nominations to Sarah Dunkinson, sdunkinson@shoreline.edu, by Monday, June 15, 2015.

Commencement Information for Graduating Students

For any faculty or staff whose students are asking them questions about commencement, please pass on the important commencement information included in this link. Caps and gowns will be on sale at the SCC Bookstore in the lower level of the PUB through Tues., May 26. All guests are required to have tickets, which also will be distributed through the Bookstore until May 26.

The 51st Commencement of Shoreline Community College honoring the Class of 2015 will take place on June 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Main Gymnasium, Building 3000.
