Double Sided Printing is available!

double sided printingDo you have an instructor that wants you to print a 40, 50 or 60 page document for use during the quarter?  You can cut that printing cost in half when to print on our black and white printers in both the student lab and the library.

Make sure to choose – “Print on Both Sides” – in the print menu.  Remember to add cash (bills only, no change or debit cards at the “Value Add” machines) and the copies are 2 cents per page of paper.  So you are really getting double for the money.

Be aware: the Color printer (at .50 cents a page) does NOT have a double side printing option.

Thanks, Deann – Student Lab Manager

Trick or Treat!

It’s that time of year.  Our little goblins, princesses, super heroes, fairies, and classic characters will be ready to parade on Friday, Oct. 31 between 9:30-11 a.m.  In the past, various departments on campus have shared this exciting event with the children by offering treats for their goody bags.  There will be approximately 80 children, ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old .  Some of the treats have been stickers, tooth brushes, pencils, etc.  If you should choose to do candy, please no hard candies or contain any nuts.

If your department would like a visit, please email Jocelyn.

Plan on teaching an Inter-Disciplinary Studies course

Although the 2015-2016 Academic Year is more than 300 days away, planning for next year is rapidly approaching. If you are considering teaching an Inter-Disciplinary Studies (a.k.a. Learning Community) course in the 2015-2016 academic year, there is an informational meeting around planning and promoting IDS courses at 1:30 p.m. in room 9201 (in the PUB) on Thursday, November 6. Inter-Disciplinary Courses are organized around a common theme and are taught by two or more instructors from different disciplines.

Please contact Chip Dodd with any questions by phone (x4653) or email.
