Tegrity will be replaced by Panopto

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) eLearning just announced that Panopto has been selected as the new lecture-capture vendor to replace Tegrity.

What does this mean for you?

  • Our content on Tegrity will need to be transitioned to Panopto by June 30, 2014, when the SBCTC eLearning’s contract with Tegrity expires.

Why do we need to change?

  • This decision comes out of a statewide lecture capture request for proposal (RFP) process because the SBCTC’s contract with Tegrity is expiring on June 30, 2014.  Many thanks to those SCC faculty and staff who participated in that process.

What are next steps?:

  • The SBCTC will negotiate a statewide contract with Panopto and then a plan will be developed on how to transition our Tegrity content to the new product.  Training will be provided.  Stay tuned.

Reminder about Tuesday, March 18
