The Library Classroom 4214 is being remodeled! The Office of the VPASA funded us to invent an Active Learning Classroom. Attached is a drawing of the new configuration. Included will be six D-shaped tables with laptops and large screens for projecting work. The Instructor will still have a central large screen on which to demonstrate, but students will be able to send their searches to the big screen as well. We believe this new configuration will encourage collaboration and indepth exploration. Here is a look at what is happening on and around campus this weekend:
Friday, March 14:
Small ensemble and piano juries will take place in room 818 starting at 12:30.
WANTED: Bare Minimum continues at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Cost is $7 for Shoreline students, $9 for Staff, non-scc students and seniors and $11 general admission.
Saturday, March 15:
Baseball takes on Tacoma CC starting at 1 p.m. at Bannerwood Park. #GoPhins
WANTED: Bare Minimum has its final show at 7:30 p.m.
Monday, March 17:
Last day of classes for spring quarter.
Spindrift is hosting its jury show March 13 from 10-2 p.m. in the Visual Arts Center (2000).
