Come hear music students perform FREE shows Fri., Dec. 8 & Mon., Dec. 11

It’s the end of the quarter, which means several music classes are holding their end-of-quarter shows. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend these FREE music performances by our very talented students:

Fri., Dec. 8

Small Ensemble Recital: Music Bldg (800), Rm 818

Fri., Dec. 8: 12:30-1:30pm
The Small Ensemble Recital is considered to be a “talent showcase” for our dedicated music students at Shoreline Community College. This is their time to shine in the spotlight and to have an opportunity to perform in front of their peers. Students are chosen by their instructors to perform at the recitals, and the criteria require students to have been involved in a music ensemble throughout the quarter. This is an invaluable experience for our students to build confidence musically through focused preparation, and the opportunity to perform in front of an audience helps them develop their stage presence.

Piano Juries: Music Bldg (800), Rm 818
Fri., Dec. 8: 2:30-4:30pm
Piano students taking private instruction lessons perform a solo piece for the music faculty and their musical peers as a final exam.
