Shoreline Community College is a shuttle stop location for the UW Stanford football game parking on Friday afternoon, Sept. 30. Shuttles run from 4-10 p.m. and pick up and drop off by the #2000 upper parking lot. Signage will direct drivers to the lower gravel lot, starting at 3 p.m.

There is a $5 charge on site and $4 charge in advance to ride the shuttle. Go to www.UWshuttle2016.com to sign up in advance.

REMINDER: Apply for Strategic Plan Steering Committees by Friday, September 30

The deadline for applying to the strategic plan steering committees is Friday, September 30. The work of these steering committees will be vital in moving forward the three goals and 15 strategies in our Strategic Plan 2016–21. The steering committees will help the College to develop actions and metrics associated with each strategy.

The application process is simple and asks you to share briefly (in 250 words or less) what knowledge, skills, and abilities you will bring to your committee. Employees do not need to check with their supervisor before applying. The Executive Team will coordinate with supervisors as necessary during the selection process.

The committees being recruited through this process are as follows:

-Learning Outcomes Assessment Steering Committee
-Communication, Marketing, and Community Engagement Steering Committee
-Disciplined Excellence Steering Committee
-Inclusive Excellence Steering Committee
-Ecological Sustainability Steering Committee

The correct information is that Shoreline is a shuttle stop location for the UW Stanford football  game parking on Friday afternoon, Sept. 30. The Apple Cup is in November. We apologize for the confusion.

October 10, 2016 is the registration deadline for Washington State citizens to vote in the November 8 general election. Two representatives from the American Association of University Women will register voters in the lobby of the PUB from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 29.
