Board of Trustees Special Meetings March 11 & 14, 2016

The Board of Trustees will hold two Special Meetings—on Friday, March 11, 2016 (beginning at 9:00 AM) and on Monday, March 14, 2016 (beginning at 1:00 PM). The purpose of these Special Meetings is for the Board to meet with Second-Year and Third-Year Appointment Review Committee Faculty Chairs.

The Special Meetings of March 11 and 14 will take place in the Central Conference Room (#1020M).

Here is the speaker nomination form for faculty and student commencement speakers. Feel free to nominate someone in one or both categories. The form can be completed online and emailed to Nancy Marshall directly at nmarshall@shoreline.edu; please list “Commencement Speaker” in the subject line. You may also print out the form, complete it, and drop it by Nancy’s office, room 5202A. Nominations will close at 5 p.m. on Mon., April 4. Thank you. 

New student registration opens Mon., March 7

Please remind your students that registration is now open for Spring quarter 2016 for all students, including new students. If current students haven’t already met with their advisor to register, they need to do so ASAP to ensure they get a space in the classes they need.

Announcing auditions for Shoreline Shorts, March 30

“Shoreline Shorts,” the Spring one-act play festival, is holding auditions Wed., March 30 from 1-3 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the basement of the Ray W. Howard Library. You can sign up for a five-minute audition slot either online (link coming soon) or on the office door of 4108, next to the Black Box. A one-minute monologue is needed for your audition.

The show runs June 8, 9, 10 & 11. Rehearsals will primarily be 2-3 times a week between 12:30-3 p.m. About 1-11 credits can be earned for participating. If you have any questions, please email tdoupe@shoreline.edu.
