Have you ever wondered how things enter the public domain? What rights do you have to use someone else’s work? What rights do you have to control the use of your work? Learn more about copyright, fair use, and copyleft (creative commons, open licenses) basics in this workshop from Caitlan Maxwell, Digital & Electronic Collections Librarian. This workshop will provide a general overview of copyright, fair use, and copyleft (Creative Commons) with research and course-related use examples. This workshop will also provide a list of resources that faculty can peruse on their own time. The workshop will be recorded in Zoom and uploaded to the eLearning Resources for Faculty Canvas site for access after the event.

Notice of March 11, 2022, Virtual Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees

The Shoreline Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Friday, March 11, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM. The purpose of the March 11 special meeting is for the Board to meet with second-year and third-year Appointment Review Committee (ARC) Chairs in executive session. (Meeting slots for the March 11 meeting with the Board were scheduled with the ARC Chairs in advance.)

Due to the continual and changing information related to COVID-19, the March 11, 2022 special meeting will be held virtually. This special meeting will be recorded, and the video, available, when Board materials are posted for the next regular meeting on March 16, 2022.

The Board Chair will call upon each speaker signed up to provide public comment. The total public comment period at the March 11, 2022 meeting will be no more than ten (10) minutes with up to two (2) minutes allotted per speaker. Adjustments to the two (2) minute allotment will be made if more than five (5) individuals sign up to speak. ctcLink Important Updates- post Go-Live 03/08/22

Hi Campus Community,  

We have launched ctcLink successfully! This is a major step for Shoreline Community College and the beginning of a process that will be filled with learning and mastering this new system. The ctcLink team is offering many opportunities to learn and train.
