Part-time Faculty Professional Development Pool Funds Applications are due to the Office of Student Learning & Success (Rm 1003) by 5pm on Friday, December 1st.

Part-time faculty may submit an application for Professional Development Pool Funds at any time during the academic year for consideration of an initial disbursement of up to $500.00. Applications in excess of $500.00 will be reviewed after each of the two deadlines, this Friday, December 1st and the second Friday in April, April 13th, 2018. Funds will be disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

All requests will be evaluated by the Professional Development Funds Committee. Equal consideration will be given to any of the activities listed in the instructions for initial disbursement of funds up to $500.00.

Reminder! The Campus Update for Fall Quarter 2017 is this Fri., Dec. 1

The Fall Quarter 2017 Campus Update is scheduled for Friday, December 1st from 1:30 – 3:00 PM in the Main Dining Room (#9215) – building 9000 (the “PUB”).

We will be sharing information on the following: Enrollment, Retention, and Completion; the Capital Budget and Housing; the Student Success Community Breakfast; Faculty and Staff Recruitment 2018; and the Communications & Connection work from Fall Convocation; Core Themes and Values; plus gallery walk!

The Campus Update will be recorded and the link to the video provided after closed captioning has occurred.

Board of Trustees Special Meeting–November 29, 2017

The Shoreline Community College Board of Trustees will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 beginning at 2:10 PM. The purpose of the November 29th Special Meeting is for the Board to meet with Second-Year and Third-Year Appointment Review Committee Faculty Chairs.
